Ants

One of the most difficult insects to eradicate depending on how many nests you have on your property and if there is different types in the surrounding areas. Ants can be one of the most irritating pests to have in the home because of the sheer numbers and the difficulty in controlling them.

We use natural Pyrethrin (Chrysanthemum oil) and / or a pyrethroid spray that will give residual protection.

The pyrethroid sprays we use are safe inside and outside, have a very low solvent level, making them odourless, non-irritating and safe.

When necessary we also use ant specific granules and syrups in areas where only the ants can get to them. They take these back to their nests and eventually with feeding and contact they eliminate themselves.

Cockroaches

Cockroaches are a common problem. These hated bugs cause more than just embarrassment to home and business owners, they also carry bacteria that can result in food poisoning, diarrhoea, allergies and skin rashes.The most common problem cockroaches in our area are:

-The American cockroach which are large and well known for coming out of drains or flying into homes. They may even move in and make themselves comfortable under our sink or in other warm areas. We use a pyrethroid spray that will give residual protection.

-The pyrethroid sprays we use are safe inside and outside, have a very low solvent level, making them odourless, non-irritating has no smell and is safe.

-The German cockroach, a smaller cockroach which infests homes and businesses, especially kitchens and appliances. They are the fastest breeding cockroach that invade our home, they also come via delivery boxes, when we buy our fruit and veg and hitch a ride onto our bags via public transport. They are small enough to nest in very hard to reach places.

-We use a poison gel bait which is specifically for cockroaches. This gel is eaten by the cockroach and taken back to their harbourage areas. The poison has a ‘viral’ effect on the population as they interact with each other and within two weeks you should notice a drastic decline in their activity and population or eradication.

Rodents- Rats and Mice

Some rodents transmit dangerous viruses causing life threatening diseases. They can also chew up electrical cables in vehicles and around the house or office and also chew holes in dirt bins and wooden door frames and structures they also burrow in your garden.

We use a new generation multi-feed poison for rodents that has very low toxicity to any non-target animal, but is especially safe for birds and animals who may prey on the effected rodent. We also use tamper proof bait stations in your garden or around your complex to manage and eradicate them.
